Card loan period:

28 days, NOT renewable

Loan quota:
  1. Up to 25 books at one time
  2. All loan items cannot be renewed

Recall items: 4-week loan book is subject to recall after 2 weeks. 60-day loan book is subject to recall after two weeks. The item has to be returned within 10 days from the date of recall. N/A

Important notes:

  1. Each card can only be used by one person per visit, and the card is not transferable to other people.
  2. Late return will be charged for HK$50 per opening day.
  3. Users should follow the policies and regulations in the designated University Library and are reminded that they will be held fully responsible for their behaviours in the Library.
  4. When you return the Library card, check the library record (HKUST Library / HKU Libraries) to make sure that you have returned all your checked out books, paid your fines and cancelled your hold (if any).
  5. You are responsible for your fine/replacement charges of lost materials to the designated University Libraries.
